Blue Eyed Beau

Lancaster, Pennsylvania, November 10th, 2018. It had been two years since the love of my life Sparkels passed. A house is not a home without a dog, and though I had been ready for quite some time, my family still wasn't. After convincing my mom to get me the pomsky puppy of my dreams as a Christmas present, I started looking everywhere and anywhere for my baby to be. I was on a four month waiting list for the Binghamton Zoo to play with their sloth Patience, and on a three hour drive there’s plenty of breeders to find in the vast lands of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Upstate New York. On the drive home I called every pomsky breeder on puppyfind.com that was in the vicinity of our route.

I lost track of how many people I contacted and what every puppy even looked like until a match was made. I contacted a breeder about two brothers, one had a full gray and white husky mask and the other was merle. The traditional husky mask brother was gone, so the merle was fated to be mine. He was an angel, a little cloud of fluff that was all mine. We were instantly soulmates, and he didn’t know what he was in for with me as a mother. I had my first dog from when I was 8-25, so I didn’t get to make executive decisions and train her to wear clothes and be social. This guy would be different. Day 1 his Instagram was created (@bklynbeau), 5 days in he went to his first dog event and the rest is history.

At just 9 months old, we had the honor of competing in Chase & Papi’s first ever Miss Dog Mom Pageant to raise awareness for rescue. We competed on behalf of Muddy Paws Rescue NYC where our cousin Max was rescued from, and though we didn’t win, we were 2nd Runner Up and the last pup standing that wasn’t rescued. Beau has won over the hearts of many not only on the internet, but we’ve made our way to TV for our 5 seconds of fame! Of course my son is a Jonas Brothers fan like his mama, so when they launched their “What A Man Gotta Do” TikTok challenge, we were all in. 40k views and still counting, we were featured on “Right This Minute” and described as having nice thighs like Nick Jonas in all of our Risky Business outfits. Beau is involved in everything I do in life and is my real life baby taking holiday photos bringing joy to everyone’s life. The devil works hard, but this dog momager works harder. Look out for this rising star, because you know with me backing him he’s destined to be the next big Instagram pet.
